Richard Cobden (1804-1865) was a British Liberal and radical statesman, internationalist, free-trader, and advocate for world peace. He lead the charge for the Repeal of the English Corn laws and for the Commercial Treaty with France. During the American Civil War he worked to keep relations between the North and England stable. OCLC shows 10 copies of this first separate edition.
