Rare protectionist broadside from the Home Market Club, founded in 1887 by textile manufacturer George F. Draper. Attacks Grover Cleveland. Attacks Great Britain and Europe. The Republican platform then could be used as the Repubican platform now. It's motto as current as today's headlines. As a protectionist lobbying group it focused on educating the public on what it called 'the evils of free trade.' Its motto was "American Wages... American Markets... and American Homes." Rare. None located in OCLC or elsewhere.
