Approved December 22, 1812, this short list of resolutions unequivocally supports the war against Great Britain, expressing that the Kentucky is "prepared to contribute whatever her strength shall be required for the vigorous and effectual prosecution of this war." Signed in print: Joseph H. Hawkins, speaker of the House of Representatives. R. Hickman, speaker of the Senate; approved, Isaac Shelby. Quite uncommon.
