23rd Congress, 1st Session. [488]. John Piatt's claims against the government for provisions provided during the war of 1812 and the government's counterclaims. Piatt was never granted the right to sue the government and the case and its offshoots lasted at least until 1884 in Ohio. The long list of items provides a useful reference for the cost of supplies and labor.
