Santiago de Liniers y Bremond (1753-1810) was a French officer in the Spanish military and a viceroy of the Spanish colonies of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata who defeated Whitelocke and the British in their invasion of Argentina in the first decade of the 19th century.
