Leonard Woods (1774-1854) was Abbot Professor of Christian Theology at the Theological Seminary in Andover, a Dartmouth graduate, and editor of "The Theological Review from 1834 to 1836. Channings original sermon set off a string of responses that lasted for four to five years and defined Unitarianism.
