Guillaume Delisle (1675-1726) was a French cartographer who added to the accuracy of mapmaking by incorporating the discoveries of French astronomers in his work. Imperium Assyriorum was engraved by Jean-Baptiste Delahaye and published posthumously in 1728. Scarce. We have only found copies in the Biblioteque National.
