Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore, 4th Proprietor of Maryland (1731-1771) was an English nobleman who led a scandalous lifestyle. Though acquitted in this trial for the abduction and rape of Sarah Woodcock, he left England and never returned, dying in Naples at the age of 39.
