The Churchman's Magazine, also known as the "Treasury of Divine and Useful Knowledge," began publication in January 1804, in New Haven, and was the earliest regular periodical published by the Episcopal Church. The publication moved to New York in 1808 and remained there until 1827, after which it was succeeded by the Episcopal Watchman.
