Young Brooklyn Woman's Scrapbook Early 20th century.

347 images, including over 100 chromolithographic and other color cards. Plus programs, newspaper articles, images, photographs, drawings, & maps. Most are related to items of interest to a young girl at that time, however a number reference local politics.
Most likely compiled by Alice Martha Hyde (1896-1940), later Alice Hyde Kreide, who is buried in Greenwood Cemetery Brooklyn. A certificate from the Glenmore Avenue Presbyterian Church Sunday School dated 1903 to Alice Hyde is included. An Alice Martha Hyde was the daughter of Frederick Belcher Hyde (1869-1942) who was born in Patchogue, L.I (and a drawing of a cottage there is one of the images of the scrapbook). He was the son of Dr Elisha Belcher Hyde, and Clara Fredrica Munson, the Munson's listed as grandparents of Alice on one of the included letters.
